Footnotes

  1. No. 17 was sold to Klevfos Cellulose after withdrawal. The engines was bought back to be restored i accordance with the 100 years celebration in 1954, and given the name "Caroline".
  2. No. 377 was bougth from NSB by Mr. G. Pagano in 1969 who gave the engine the name "King Haakon" due to an erronous rumour that 377 hauled the train with king Haakon and his family on the escape from Oslo April 9th 1940 on the German attack on Norway.
  3. Partly cut apart to expose inside of boiler and cylinder.
  4. Disposed by NJK Norsk Museumstog.

  6. Class "Dovre Giant". No 463 was acutally named "Dovregubben" (= Dovre Giant) after Henrik Ibsen's play "Peer Gynt"
  7. No. 2770 was put aside in 1958 in Drangsdalen tunnel. The engine was repeared in Stavanger by NJK and was used from 1997 in vintage trains by NJK NMT, especially on the Rauma Line. The engine was returned to the owner NJM in 2007, and put aside at Hamar station.
  8. No. 5865 was put aside in 1958 in Drangsdalen tunnel. In England the loco was given the name "Peer Gynt".
  9. Changed gauge in 1918 due to a general broadening of the gauge on the Sultitjelma railway
  10. Saved from sea 40 years after accident.
